Stella has helped set up DofE programmes in a number of schools, training staff where it is required.
The expedition part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award comprises of three elements:
Training
Practice Expedition
Qualifying Expedition (including assessors)
We can deliver the Expedition section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award in your school in its entirety or through a range of bespoke options, you decide and we will cost it :
1.Training and Expeditions - We can provide the complete program of training, practice and assessment for all three awards:
Bronze, Silver and Gold, individually or collectively.
2. Expeditions only - if you have trained a group yourselves then we can provide qualified Outdoor Leaders, experienced in remote supervision to supervise expeditions.
3. Assessors – Stella can provide you with accredited DofE Assessors for qualification expeditions.
4. Consultation package - Stella can also assist you with co-ordinating and setting up the DofE programme in your school including supervision of the other three sections through edofe. This can take many forms including any or all of the following:
Set up systems for your group - Complete/assist with the completion of, all prerequisite paperwork including green forms, risk assessment, OA notifications etc.
Provide training packs for all members including equipment and clothing lists, consent forms, handouts, etc
Provide continuous ongoing training, support and supervision until completion of the award.
Deliver presentations to schools, parents, corporate bodies, university fresher days and both undergraduate and PGCE students.
Provide classroom training at your venue: school, college or university or at one of our local conference centres.
Our programmes cover all syllabus requirements and the 20 conditions integral to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
